Model K is no one else than Kate Moss, the most eccentric model of her time. Each piece is made of 13 600 straws (transparent & black), a frame specially designed for the Straw-k’Art, using black and transparent plexiglass and measures 80x60x7 cm. Each portrait is an edition of 8 pieces, yet, each one is unique because the fabrication process is mostly artisanal. The frame can be fixed to a wall or suspended from the ceiling in front of a window to emphasise the transparency effect. The games of texture, shadow, glossiness and transparency, create a surprising and complex effect to discover from any points of view!
